These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the travel planning, research, consultation, and booking services provided by STARS & Beyond Travel ("STARS & Beyond Travel," "we," "us," or "our") to the client and travelers included in a reservation ("Client," "Traveler," "you," or “your").
By requesting our services, accepting a proposal or itinerary, authorizing a booking, submitting payment, or otherwise proceeding with travel arrangements through STARS & Beyond Travel, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these Terms.
1. OUR ROLE AS YOUR TRAVEL ADVISOR
STARS & Beyond Travel provides travel planning and booking services as an independent travel advisor affiliated with a host agency. We act as an intermediary between you and third-party travel suppliers and are not the provider, owner, operator, or direct supplier of the travel services included in your itinerary.
Travel services may include, but are not limited to, airlines, cruise lines, hotels, resorts, tour operators, transportation providers, excursion companies, and travel protection providers ("Travel Suppliers”).
Travel Suppliers are responsible for providing the travel services you purchase and are subject to their own terms, conditions, policies, and requirements.
2. QUOTES, PRICING, AND AVAILABILITY
All quotes and proposals are preliminary and do not constitute a reservation or guarantee of price or availability unless specifically stated otherwise in writing.
No travel space or service is being held unless you have been specifically notified that a reservation or hold has been placed.
Prices and availability may change at any time until the applicable Travel Supplier confirms the reservation and required payment has been received.
Changes to travel dates, number of travelers, occupancy, accommodations, transportation, or other trip components may result in changes to price and availability.
Rates are quoted in U.S. Dollars unless otherwise stated and may be subject to taxes, government fees, port charges, resort fees, baggage fees, fuel surcharges, gratuities, or other charges imposed by Travel Suppliers or government entities.
3. PLANNING AND SERVICE FEES
STARS & Beyond Travel may charge planning, research, consultation, itinerary design, booking, or other professional service fees. Any applicable fee will be communicated to you before it is charged.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, service fees are non-refundable because they compensate us for time, research, expertise, and services performed. A service fee may be applied toward the final booking cost only when specifically stated in writing.
Our service fees are separate from any deposits, cancellation penalties, change fees, or other charges imposed by Travel Suppliers.
4. PAYMENTS, CANCELLATIONS, AND CHANGES
You are responsible for making all required payments by the deadlines communicated to you. Failure to make a required payment on time may result in cancellation, loss of deposits, increased pricing, or loss of availability.
All cancellations, changes, refunds, and penalties are subject to the applicable Travel Supplier's terms and conditions. Certain travel arrangements, deposits, promotional fares, tickets, accommodations, and other services may be completely non-refundable.
Refunds, when available, are determined and processed by the applicable Travel Supplier. STARS & Beyond Travel cannot guarantee that a refund will be available or control the timing of a supplier-issued refund.
Client-requested changes after a reservation has been confirmed may result in supplier fees, fare differences, penalties, and/or additional service fees.
5. TRAVEL SUPPLIER TERMS
Travel Suppliers may have their own terms and conditions, cancellation policies, payment requirements, contracts of carriage, health and safety requirements, and other rules governing the services they provide.
You are responsible for reviewing and complying with all applicable Travel Supplier terms and conditions. By proceeding with a reservation, you agree to the terms and conditions applicable to the Travel Suppliers included in your trip.
6. TRAVELER INFORMATION AND DOCUMENTS
You are responsible for providing complete and accurate information for all travelers. Names must match exactly as they appear on the government-issued identification or passport that will be used for travel.
You are responsible for promptly reviewing all confirmations, invoices, itineraries, tickets, and other travel documents and notifying STARS & Beyond Travel of any errors as soon as possible. Corrections may result in additional fees, penalties, or the inability to make changes.
You are solely responsible for obtaining and maintaining valid passports, visas, travel authorizations, and any other documents required for your trip. You are also responsible for verifying all applicable entry, transit, health, vaccination, testing, customs, and immigration requirements.
Travel requirements can change without notice. Information provided by STARS & Beyond Travel regarding travel requirements is for general informational purposes and should not be considered legal, immigration, medical, or governmental advice. You should verify requirements with the appropriate government authorities and Travel Suppliers before travel.
7. TRAVEL INSURANCE AND TRAVEL RISKS
Travel protection is strongly recommended. Travel insurance or other protection may provide coverage for certain unexpected events, subject to the policy's terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions.
If you decline travel protection, you acknowledge that you may be responsible for cancellation penalties, medical expenses, trip interruption costs, delays, lost luggage, emergency transportation, or other unforeseen expenses.
STARS & Beyond Travel does not guarantee coverage or payment of any insurance claim and is not responsible for denied claims or losses that are not covered by your policy.
Travel involves inherent risks, and conditions may change before or during a trip. You are responsible for staying informed about travel advisories, weather, health and safety conditions, government restrictions, local laws, and other circumstances that may affect your travel.
8. TRAVEL SUPPLIERS, DELAYS, AND UNFORESEEN EVENTS
STARS & Beyond Travel does not own, operate, manage, or control Travel Suppliers and is not responsible for their acts, omissions, errors, negligence, schedule changes, cancellations, delays, failures, financial condition, or performance.
Flights, accommodations, itineraries, cruise schedules, transportation, tours, excursions, and other travel services may be changed or cancelled by Travel Suppliers.
Travel may also be affected by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including weather, natural disasters, strikes, mechanical issues, civil unrest, government actions, public health events, or other unforeseen circumstances.
To the extent permitted by law, STARS & Beyond Travel is not responsible for losses, expenses, delays, cancellations, missed connections, missed travel services, injuries, or other damages resulting from the acts or omissions of Travel Suppliers or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
Additional expenses resulting from travel disruptions are the responsibility of the traveler unless covered by the applicable Travel Supplier or travel protection plan.
9. CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES
You are responsible for providing accurate traveler information, making payments on time, reviewing travel documents, complying with Travel Supplier requirements, obtaining required travel documents, meeting applicable entry requirements, and arriving at departure points on time.
You are also responsible for the actions and conduct of all travelers included in reservations you authorize.
10. COMMUNICATIONS AND SERVICE
By providing your contact information, you authorize STARS & Beyond Travel to contact you regarding your travel inquiry, reservation, payments, itinerary, travel updates, and related services by email, telephone, or text message, as appropriate and in accordance with applicable law.
STARS & Beyond Travel reserves the right to decline or discontinue services when reasonably necessary, including in cases involving abusive, threatening, fraudulent, discriminatory, or otherwise inappropriate conduct or failure to comply with these Terms.
11. GENERAL TERMS
STARS & Beyond Travel makes reasonable efforts to provide accurate travel information; however, pricing, descriptions, schedules, availability, amenities, and other information may be provided by Travel Suppliers and may change. We reserve the right to correct errors or omissions.
These Terms, together with your applicable proposal, invoice, itinerary, authorization forms, and Travel Supplier terms, constitute the agreement governing our services. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by law.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive or limit any rights or protections that cannot legally be waived.
12. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accepting a proposal, approving travel arrangements, authorizing a booking, submitting payment, or otherwise proceeding with travel services through STARS & Beyond Travel, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these Terms and Conditions and the applicable terms and conditions of the Travel Suppliers providing your travel services.
